Systematic App Review Tool - Senior Project                                                          September 2022 - June 2023

The tool is targeted for non-technical researchers to easily scrape app meta data from the Google Play Store to supplement their research - won 1st place out of 5 technical tools within the HCI discipline

• Drove team to define clear project requirements, aligning communication to all stakeholders

• Prototyped and implemented UI for the executable open-source tool using Figma, HTML, and CSS

• Led bi-weekly sprints and improvement plans to optimize feature development and project schedule

• Established the user interview protocol and led both initial product interviews and user testing sessions

• Wrote technical report describing the project, technical components, and challenges, and comprehensive documentation to download and operate the scraper smoothly

Digital Marketing and Communications Intern

• Created an augmented reality campus tour demo for mobile using Blender and Adobe Creative Cloud

Research Assistant – Human Computer Interaction (HCI)

• Coordinate discussion with focus groups to refine questions to analyze gamer interactions in virtual world

• Lead small team of gamers to collect data on gaming experiences, record findings for future research

• Drive weekly sync-up brainstorming sessions with the professor to discuss results from recent research

The SCU XR club is Santa Clara University’s VR/AR/MR club on campus, dedicated to students to design their own creative projects

This internship was part of a quarter-long class specifically designed for user experience. I was a part of the first wave of students to participate in the English Department redesign.

• Conducted heuristic markups on the website by using user profiles to identify areas that need improvement

• Created task flows using wireframes to illustrate how content should flow on the page and between pages

• Developed design prototypes of web pages and illustrated how pages would look and feel on the actual site
